This will take place on Sunday 16 May 2021. However, in a similar way to 2020, this will be a virtual event only with a short but poignant recording available to all on the day.
Most likely, a wreath on behalf of the Regiment will be laid at the Guards Memorial by the Lieutenant Colonel (Major General C R V Walker, DSO, formerly Grenadier Guards) and a wreath laid in the Guards Chapel, and at the Mareth Cross by the Regimental Adjutant (Major J P W Gatehouse, formerly Grenadier Guards).
Unfortunately, there will be no service in the Guards Chapel, no gathering at Wellington Barracks nor any march up to Horse Guards for any wreath-laying.
All hope that we can return to a degree of normality in 2022.
